Society - Candy?!?

    Are you shitting me??? Now candy is going woke, again...

    I only today mention it because of this article. Recently for pride month Skittles went white, actually sort of an ashy light grey, because "Only one Rainbow matters during Pride". The colorful candies went white in 'honor' of pride month. But caught shit because the went "white'. Apparently that was somehow White Supremacist. There people out there on both ends of the spectrum who see conspiracies in EVERYTHING!

    I dont know why companies do what they do under the guise of marketing. There are sure some super 'geniuses' in the corporate ether that believe they have a grip on the Zeitgeist of America. But yet with all of their education they always seem to miss the mark. Bud Lite became the inflection point/flash point for this "Woke" commercialism a couple years ago. I dont know if they have recovered yet. I hope they dont. I hope that marketing blunder will stand as a monument to the marketing industry "Go Woke Go Broke!".

    Cracker Barrel just laid their head on the chopping block and results were not at all favorable. I dont know the numbers, but after loosing a S#IT TONNE of money overnight they went back to the standard model.

    Harley Davidson tried it. Hired a "Cluster" of marketing "Geniuses" and the last I heard they were or were about to declare bankruptcy.

    I see that Victoria's Secret is back to advertising with young 'Thin' models again. At least on the youtube.

    American Eagle Outfitters "Came Out" as UN-Woke and made a killing. Sold out the "Good Jeans" in days. Stocks went UP by some. All the while the woke community was shitting them selves. Reading in to the commercial copy all manner of Nazi propaganda signals. I dont know what the end result of their add campaign is. But it did cause quite the sensation.

    I dont guess I need to mention disney and the 'Wokification' of Snow White. And it seems that everything that the big z touches going forward is doomed by dint of association. 

    Target, The makers of Jack Daniels, Caterpillar, Ford, Boeing, John Deer, Amazon, McDonald's, Walmart... "The list is Long but Distinguished". (I tried to 'crop' this video down shorter but then I ran into a cookies problem)

    But the One thing that can be incontrovertibly said is that being "White" in America is the one "Terrible No Good Rotten" thing that there is in America. White people bear the burden of Everything that goes wrong in America and by extension the world.

Stuff - Humanity

     The more I watch youtube the more I worry about humanity. And the more I realize that humanity is going to be damned difficult to get rid of.

I see video after video of people wiping out one way or another in the most horrific and STUPID ways.

    When these people wipe out horribly it sends sparks of pain in my body like the sparks of a brilliant white Magnesium firework and in my head I know that these people are going to need some level of surgery to fix what has happened. And these people have done whatever it is that has caused the wipe out for the most ridiculous reasons, showing off or learning a new skate board trick or what ever it is. Stupid stuff. and then these stupid people just pop up and laugh it off.

    I worry about humanity for being that stupid to get wrapped up in what ever antic they find themselves in. How can people not see that standing near the ocean shore line on slippery kelp covered coral or lava or just plain rock surely they have the sense to have watched the waves for a bit to see when the waves are going to come BLASTING on shore. But No. They stand there for the "perfect" shot or whatever only to be dashed across those sharp rugged rocks. Unbelievable.

 

My Stuff - Iliza Slesenger

    One of my long time favorite comedians is Iliza Sleshenger. She is a observational comedian and very good at it. I have loved her work for a decade or more, I think, in any event a LONG Time.

But recently she has released a special on Amazon Prime Video.

She made a, in my opinion, CRITICAL misstatement in her stand up.

She made the statement that women dont want to be Bitches. I couldn't DISAGREE more. Women everywhere are posting videos of how they believe that men are useless and a drag on society. They rail on and on and on about the wage gap, the professional glass ceiling, the patriarchy, the male gaze, testosterone poisoning and on and on and on and on... And how men everywhere are the cause of everything that is wrong with the entire planet. This is a list that enumerates all of those miladies that beset our planet and society at large caused by MEN. And when men push back verbally or in  print or on a podcast or whatever other media you can name their response is that you [men] have been in charge long enough and that we[men] have run things into them ground.

And when men "Listen" to women about leaving them alone, not approaching women any more. they get upset that they have to do "ALL OF THEW WORK". This woman runs/has a youtube channel about the "Dating scene"

 There have come so many 'movements' recently put in motion by women. Me2(me too) out of Hollywoke and 4B out of South Korea, [And the worst part of this 4B movement is that south Korea has a birthrate that is far below replacement for the population which means that the population of South Korea is being wiped out at a rate WORSE than THE Plague] after Donald J Trump won the presidential election last year women went on  'strike'. Women were shaving their heads, not shaving body hair withholding sex the list goes on. There was one woman pod-caster (Cant find her now) who put forth a list of ways women could make them selves hateful to their fathers who had voted for Donald J Trump for president. Face tattoos visible piercings crazy hair color over and above the blue and purple hair that many feminists are sporting lately and generally ACTIVELY choosing to be bitches.

    There was one woman, out of the many, who video taped herself in a public gym, as so many are now a days, who when she was having trouble with setting her hip thrust weight bar, getting the plates on the bar, a guy in the back ground saw her difficulty and came to ask if he could help. She in the moment was grateful and pleasant, but when he had left the shot she ranted on  Farrel, Farrel Farrel in describing his actions. She then took this bit of video and chose to with malice and fore thought to post this on her blog of vlog or what ever it was and bad things happened to the guy as a result. 

    There was an instance where a BLIND man was apparently "looking" at a woman who was put off by his "looking" at her. She went and got the gym manager to have him ejected and hopeful banned from the gym. The manager was such a complete FµÇK-Wit that even after the BLIND man showed the manager proof of his BLINDNESS he still pushed the BLIND man to not stare at the woman. Tell me that these women and MANY like them are choosing to be bitches in the worst, base way possible.

     There is a gym-bro who is taking these sorts of women to task, Joey Swoll. Its a metric of how I believe that women are actively choosing to be bitches.

    So in summation with this bit of rant Some/Many women are Actively choosing to be bitches. And not as Taylor Tomlinson might say it, I didn't say you were a bitch I said you were being a bitch. (Cant find the clip)

My Stuff - Somthing I noticed

     I was watching Ferris Beuller's Day off the other day. There is a line issued by the character Cameron Frey  "Ferris you are my hero". He said this like with a very distinctive semi nasally voice.

Not too very long after that I was watching a reaction video of my ALL TIME Favorite TV show  "Firefly".

For those of you out there that missed this tiny blip on the Fox network It was/is some of the finest TV writing and what other attributes that you might ascribe to a TV show.

Anyway there comes a scene in Firefly where our hero Malcolm Reynolds issues the line "He is my hero" in the VERY same semi nasally voice.

     Out of the TV show "Firefly" comes this line or words like it, Emotions make things complicated. They just do. Always. They really do. It is a law as immutable as gravity and death.

Society - Gun Control

    In this essay I am going to touch on the other use of the word "Commit". I am going to discuss the use of commit in the "Commit Murder" usage. In day gone by a person had to work a good old hate to cross over the edge of "Committing Murder".  Generally speaking murder cuts across the grain of humanity.With the advent of firearms you don't have to get that worked up anymore. At least not in the strictest of senses. You may get VERY worked up in "The Moment". Crime of passion or words to that effect. But you hear about fuck offs who loose at poker and go home to collect their firearm and return to kill their used to be friend in a "Fit" of rage. Those fuck-offs get all of the damn attention with regard to the use of firearm use. They give the lawful, trained, controlled, judicious use of a firearms a black eye. And the Fuck-off legislators that know Fuck-all about firearms try to make a name for themselves by getting some useless bit of additional legislation keeping firearms out of the hands of law abiding citizens. All of the gun legislation in the world WONT keep guns out of the hands of criminals. They by definition are set outside of the law. Another word for criminal is "Outlaw". There are well over 500 separate laws regarding gun ownership and acquisition in this country and you cant tune into the tv without hearing about some asshole that shot up a school any more. (I tried to look up the separate gun laws in the country. It seems that the people that publish gun violence deaths are the people that are pushing for stricter gun control laws.) Schools have somehow replaced the post office as favorite place to shoot-up. There are the occasional blips where some fuckwit shoots-up a thereafter or a church, but mostly schools. There is much concern about mental health in America these days. I wonder that they should look into the school system outfall to discover what would drive a person to shoot up a school. There is much talk about bullying. But it makes me wonder why there aren't any Mosques being shot up what with all of the anti muslim sentiment since 9-11. Of course that seems to have been replaced by anti-antisemitism in the aftermath of the attack on Israel by the Palestinians. How fucked up is that.

    I do believe that "Gun Control" is a good solid two handed grip and plenty of practice at the range.

 

My Stuff - Observations - Movies - TV

     I have been enjoying watching the TV show from the mid 80's titled "Moonlighting". I believe that this was Bruce Willis' breakout role.

    I also believe that Ryan Reynolds used to watch this. Or the writers of the comic book Dead Pool, maybe. The TV show features much of the very same styles of writing that Dead Pool uses.
